We are excited that The McDonald College will be hosting Lauren McDonald B. Ex & SPS M.PHTY for student dance assessments for three fortnightly Wednesdays in August from 9.45am – 6.15pm. There are 10 one-on-one assessments available, each running for 45 minutes. During this time Lauren will work with each student to tailor a program to their specific needs, whether this is for pre-pointe assessment and preparation, treating an injury, or enhancing their arabesque.
Why you should have an assessment:
Regular dance assessments are important for dancers of all ages and levels. Our mission is the educate and empower dancers to understand their own body and how it works, giving you the results you desire and prevent injuries. Our in-depth assessments cover areas such as foot control, turnout and hip strength, posture and core control, dance specific technique and flexibility and pointe work if appropriate. Comprehensive exercises are given to correct any areas that need assistance. You will be amazed at the amount you learn in a short space of time in one of these sessions! Having these valuable sessions available on-site at The McDonald College makes it so much easier!
